The discipline “Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)” has for an object to acquaint students with bases of modern information technology and tendencies of their development. To form knowledge of principles of work and the organization of devices of the personal computer, knowledge of technologies of use of ready software products for creation and processing of documents, the decision of the big class of problems, conducting databases.

 

 The course provides an overview of the major conceptual paradigms of Information and Communication Technologies, from their theoretical foundations to practical implementation. Topics will include Architecture of Computer Systems, Operating systems and software, Network technologies and telecommunications,Information and communication technologies in the professional field,and Perspective trends of information and communication technologies.
